We jump on a call and discuss what goals you have for the website. It’s also handy to zoom out and discuss what goals you have for the business as a whole, so we can make sure everything is aligned.

Once we know your goals, we can define the scope of the project. I.e., what pages and features the site requires to fulfil your goals, the timeline for building those out and cost.

With the proposal signed off, we will get busy designing wireframes and creating a sitemap. This will give us a good basis to discuss and define the structure of the website before we get into the visual design.

Now we can see how the site will be structured, content will be needed to fill out these pages. The content can come from you, or your team, or we can create content for you. Either way we’ll make sure the content follows Search Engine Optimisation best practices.

With the site architecture and the content in place, we can start working on the visual design. You may already have well-defined brand guidelines, but you might also need a new visual style from the ground up.

We use references, moodboards and stylescapes in an iterative process to help us come to a visual style that is undeniably you. Once the visual style is dialled in, we can start applying this style to our wireframes and bring this website to life.

With the help of automated tools and manual browsing of the website, we’ll identify and fix any issues that pop up. Now we can browse it on our phone, desktop, ipad... etc it’s an ideal time to take a second look at the content and visual design. It should look, feel and communicate consistently on all devices.

Once everything's working perfectly, it's time to plan and execute your site launch! We can coordinate with you, or your team, to make sure it's a smooth launch, on all platforms.
